Three women are sitting in a beauty parlor, chatting about their husbandss

Three Women Shared Their Husband Problems at the Beauty Salon — The Third Woman Had the Best Answer

Three women were sitting together in a cozy beauty salon, their hair wrapped in towels while the dryers hummed softly in the background.

As often happens during a salon visit, the conversation eventually turned to husbands.

The first woman sighed.

“My husband told me last night that he had to stay late at the office. But I called his workplace to check on him, and guess what? He never even showed up.”

The second woman nodded sympathetically.

“That sounds familiar. Mine told me he was spending the evening at his brother’s house. So I called over there to say hello—and he wasn’t there either.”

Both women looked at the third woman, who had been sitting quietly with a relaxed smile on her face.

“And you?” one of them asked. “Does your husband ever give you reasons to be suspicious?”

The third woman smiled confidently.

“Oh, I always know exactly where my husband is.”

The other two exchanged surprised looks.

“Always?” one asked.

“That’s impossible,” the other replied. “He must be very good at hiding things.”

The third woman laughed.

“Oh, he doesn’t hide anything from me.”

She paused.

“I’m a widow.”

The salon went silent for a second.

Then all three women burst out laughing.

Sometimes the easiest way to know exactly where someone is… is to make sure they can’t go anywhere. 😄

The Fishing Trip

And speaking of husbands finding creative ways to escape their weekend chores, here’s another one.

Four married friends decided to go fishing together early one Saturday morning.

They arrived at the lake before sunrise, set up their equipment, and settled into their usual conversation.

Before long, they started comparing notes about what each man had promised his wife in exchange for a peaceful morning by the water.

The first man shook his head dramatically.

“You have no idea what I had to promise to get out of the house today. I told my wife I’d paint the entire house this weekend.”

The other three nodded.

“That’s a serious commitment,” one of them said.

The second man laughed.

“Painting the house? That’s nothing. I promised my wife I’d build her a brand-new deck by the pool. She’s been asking me for one forever.”

The third man looked at them both.

“You two got off easy. I promised my wife I’d completely remodel our kitchen.”

The others groaned.

“New cabinets?”

“New countertops?”

“Everything,” he replied. “She gave me the whole list.”

Then all three looked toward the fourth man.

He had been sitting quietly with his fishing rod in the water, wearing a suspiciously cheerful smile.

“Okay,” one of them said. “You’ve been awfully quiet. What did you promise your wife?”

The fourth man shrugged.

“Nothing much.”

The others stared at him.

“Nothing?”

“Nope.”

“So how did you convince her to let you come fishing?”

He smiled.

“I set my alarm for 5:30 this morning.”

The men leaned closer.

“When it went off, I turned it off, gently nudged my wife, and whispered, ‘Fishing… or something else?’”

The other three men waited for the answer.

“What did she say?”

He grinned.

“She rolled over and said, ‘Put on a sweater.’”

The four men immediately burst out laughing.

Apparently, some husbands don’t need to negotiate.

They just need to ask the right question at the right time.

Moral of the story

Sometimes, a little creativity can save you from a whole weekend of household chores. 😄
